Selbstgebauter Elektro-Räucherofen

Grillrost einsetzen
In die Mitte der Tonne bohrt man nur in einem Abstand von 90° zueinander vier Löcher. In diese steckt man von außen vier Schrauben mitsamt Unterlegscheibe. Von innen zieht man dann die Schraubenmutter...

Schritt 2 / 3 - Kochplatte

Nun nimmt man die Kochplatte und setzt diese in die Mitte der Tonne. Das Kabel führt man durch eine Öffnung nach draußen. Wenn das Loch etwas größer wird, so ist das kein Problem. Von unten muss dem Räucherofen nämlich Luft zugeführt werden. Weitere Öffnungen kann man in gleichmäßigem Abstand unten in die Tonne bohren. Auf die Kochplatte setzt man dann die Eisenpfanne und füllt diese mit feuchtem Hickory- oder Kiefernholz. Der Geschmack der geräucherten Lebensmittel wird je nach Holzart leicht variieren.
