Der Kartengeber (und Bankhalter) mischt die Karten und verteilt ringsum an jeden Mitspieler verdeckt eine Karte, sich selbst eingeschlossen. Jeder Mitspieler darf nun der Reihe nach vom Geber eine Karte "kaufen", bis er glaubt den 12 Augen nahe genug zu sein. Wer den Wert von 12 Augen ueberschreitet, muss sein Blatt sofort aufdecken und hat verloren und muss einen vorher festgelegten Betrag in die Kasse zahlen.
