Schritt 1 / 2 - Hotpants selber machen

Zuerst muss man die Hosenbeine der alten Jeans abschneiden. Der Schnitt sollte außen in etwa 2,5 cm oberhalb des Schrittes beginnen und dann innen 2,5 cm unterhalb der Schrittes enden. Der Schnitt sollte unbedingt nach innen hin schräg verlaufen, damit die Beine optisch länger wirken und die Herrenwelt um den Verstand bringen.

Ich habe in der Stadt lange gesucht, um die ideale Vintage Hotpants mit hoher Taille zu finden. Nach einiger Zeit war meine Geduld dann aber am Ende und ich habe mir in einem Second Hand Shop für wirklich wenig Geld eine Jeans aus den 80er-Jahren gekauft, mit hoher Taille und grässlich weitem Karottenschnitt. Ich hatte beschlossen diese einfach umzugestalten in eine Hotpants nach meinem Geschmack. Alles was ich dazu noch gebraucht habe, waren ein ebenso alter Nietengürtel und eine Schere.
