Tablett lackieren
Zunächst war es zwingend angebracht das gelbe Tablett neu zu lackieren. Die Farbe erinnerte mich zu sehr an die 60er Jahre, deren "bunter Plastikstil" ich persönlich nicht sonderlich ansprechend finde...

Tragegriffe umwickeln
Für den maritimen Look habe ich die Tragegriffe des Esstabletts mit einer dicken weißen Kordel umwickelt. Dazu muss man zunächst das Anfangstück parallel zum Griff mit etwas Sekundenkleber fixieren. D...

Landkarte aufkleben
Nun muss man noch die Abstellfläche etwas aufhübschen. Ich habe dazu eine alte Landkarte verwendet, aber man kann auch jedes andere Papier z.B. eine Zeitung dazu verwenden - mein Mann und ich verreise...

Schritt 3 / 3 - Landkarte aufkleben

Nun muss man noch die Abstellfläche etwas aufhübschen. Ich habe dazu eine alte Landkarte verwendet, aber man kann auch jedes andere Papier z.B. eine Zeitung dazu verwenden - mein Mann und ich verreisen nämlich gerne. Dazu habe ich mit einem Lineal die Abstellfläche vermessen und dann eine Landkarte passend zugeschnitten. In Zeiten von modernen Navigationsgeräten braucht man eigentlich keine Landkarten mehr. Bevor man nun die ausgeschnitte Landkarte aufklebt, sollte man diese zuvor glatt bügeln und erst dann mit Kleber anbringen. Den Kleber sollte man möglichst großflächig auftragen. Anschließend ist es dann noch zu empfehlen die Abstellfläche mit einer transparenten Klebefolie abzudecken. So kann man auch mal etwas verschütten, ohne das sich gleich das Papier aufweicht. Und das war es auch schon. Ich finde dieses Esstablett passt ganz wunderbar zu dieser Lampe! Die hat mich nämlich inspiriert :D
