Schritt 1 / 1 - Sauce zubereiten

Von den Dosentomaten sind zunächst die Strünke zu entfernen. Dann muss man die Zwiebeln würfeln und gemeinsam mit dem zerdrückten Knoblauch in Olivenöl andünsten. Die Tomaten mit Saft dazugeben und alles leicht zerstampfen (geht mit einem Kartoffelstamper wunderbar). Nun die restlichen Zutaten dazu, Deckel drauf und auf kleinster Hitze eine Stunde köcheln lassen.
Anschließend erneut abschmecken, vielleicht mit etwas Zucker, Salz oder weiterem Chili nachwürzen.
